N.C. Baptist Hospital Honors Its Volunteers
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – North Carolina Baptist Hospital will honor 105 of its volunteers at a breakfast on Friday, April 22 at The Hawthorne Inn and Conference Center.
Hospital volunteers serve in a variety of roles, from assisting guests at the information desks to playing with the children in Brenner Children's Hospital.
Honorees with the highest levels of service are: Don Moss of Pilot Mountain, 35,000 hours; Sankie Fritchman and Betty Penn, both of Winston-Salem, 21,000 hours; Louise Joyce of Advance, 19,000 hours; Dutch Fritchman of Winston-Salem, 17,000 hours; and Wilma Smiley and Oliver White, both of Winston-Salem, 11,000 hours.
The hospital has more than 700 volunteers who contribute more than 125,000 hours of service a year.
