BestHealth® to hold Health Fair on May 20 at Hanes Mall
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – BestHealth, the community health resource center of Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, will hold a community health fair on Saturday, May 20 at Hanes Mall from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. The health fair will feature over 50 exhibitors and will offer a variety of free health screenings including asthma, blood pressure, body fat analysis, body mass index, cholesterol, carotid artery checks, diabetes and glaucoma.
Useful health information from Wake Forest Baptist and many community health and service agencies will be available at booths located on the upper and lower levels of Hanes Mall between Belk and JCPenney. The Triad's Radio Disney® AM 1320 WCOG will offer children the opportunity to enjoy games, music, prizes, and the chance to win a free children's bicycle. Face painting, spin art and special prizes will be available for all children. Door prizes and entertainment will also be featured throughout the day.
The health fair is free and open to the public. Preregistration is not required.
