Walton W. Curl, M.D., Rejoins Faculty of WFUBMC

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center announces the reappointment of Walton Wright Curl, M.D. as professor, orthopaedic surgery.

Prior to leaving Wake Forest Baptist in 2002 to become Chairman of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery of the Medical College of Georgia, Curl had been on the faculty of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Wake Forest Baptist since 1988, most recently as professor and director of the Sports Medicine Unit.

Curl earned his medical degree from Duke University and completed his residency at Letterman Army Medical Center in San Francisco and a fellowship in Sports Medicine at Keller Army Hospital at West Point. His areas of expertise are Sports Medicine, General Orthopaedics and Adolescent Orthopaedic Medicine.
