The Heart Center at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center Offers Heart Healthy Programs in February

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Celebrate your heart this February with the specialists from the Heart Center at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center.
Take part in a variety of programs and screenings to provide early detection and education about the signs and symptoms of heart disease, and the latest treatments to support your cardiovascular health. Join the Heart Center at the BestHealth® community resource center, Hanes Mall, for a month of programs in February to learn how you and your loved ones can live longer and better.

What is your blood pressure? Do you know your cholesterol levels? Just how much do you weigh, anyway? Knowing these important numbers is the first step in taking control of your heart’s health.
Heart disease is the No.1 killer of Americans. However, you can reduce your risk of heart disease by making simple lifestyle changes. The risk for heart disease risk begins to rise as we age. Isn’t now a good time to start your heart-health program? We can help.
Join us on Friday, Feb. 1, at 6:30 p.m. for the Red Dress Fashion Show at Belk court as the Heart Center at Wake Forest Baptist and BestHealth kick off the community’s annual awareness campaign for heart health.
We have a full month of heart-healthy events for you to consider. Registration is required for all screenings and events. Call (800) 446-2255 or visit www.besthealth.com.
