Heart-healthy Exercise with ARTHUR™ and BestHealth® Kids
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – ARTHUR™, the beloved aardvark and star of the Marc Brown books and the PBS television series, will stop by the BestHealth Kids Club from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 28, in Belk Court at Hanes Mall.
Children ages 4 to 12 are invited to join ARTHUR and certified group fitness instructor Laura Oakes for a fun-filled hour of heart-healthy activity. In this BestHealth Kids program, children will explore how their bodies move with bending, jumping, running, stretching and balancing, and will learn the importance of physical activity for a lifetime. Parents are encouraged to join in the fun.
Participants will also receive a coupon to the Children’s Museum of Winston-Salem (while supplies last) to view the Arthur’s™ World exhibit that will continue through May 17 at the Museum located at 390 South Liberty Street.
Registration is required for the BestHealth Kids exercise class on February 28. Please call 336-716-2255 to register. BestHealth Kids is a FREE club for children ages 0-12 and is sponsored by Brenner Children's Hospital and Hanes Mall.
BestHealth Kids programs teach children about health, nutrition and fitness in a fun environment. Club members also receive a yearly birthday surprise and invitations to special events. Children can join by visiting the BestHealth location in Hanes Mall or by downloading an application on www.besthealth.com.
