Donny Lambeth Joins NCHA Board

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Donny C. Lambeth, president of North Carolina Baptist Hospital of Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, has been appointed to the North Carolina Hospital Association (NCHA) board of trustees.

Lambeth will fill an unexpired term through 2011. NCHA represents 130 North Carolina hospitals and health systems. He has previously served on the NCHA Policy Development Committee, the primary investigational and policy recommendation body of the association.

"We are delighted to have Mr. Lambeth share with our board his vast knowledge of health care and experience as a leader of a dynamic facility such as Wake Forest Baptist," said Bill Pully, NCHA President. "I'm certain his contributions to the board will enhance the association's ability to serve our members."

NCHA is a statewide trade association representing 135 hospitals and health networks. The association promotes improved community health status and delivery of quality health care through leadership, information, education and advocacy in members' interests and for public benefit.
