This free, six-week workshop is designed to help cancer survivors make the transition from active treatment to post-treatment care. Get answers to your questions about cancer survivorship and post-cancer treatment as physicians, nutritionists and fitness experts from Wake Forest Baptist discuss the following topics:

2 p.m. One in three people may have high blood pressure. Learn the steps you can take to control blood pressure and how to reduce the health risks caused by it from Wake Forest Baptist nephrologist Amret Hawfield, M.D. Hear from clinical studies coordinator Cassandra Bethea, RN, BSN, about a NIH clinical trial called Systolic Blood Pressure Intervention Trial (SPRINT) that is currently enrolling participants at Wake Forest Baptist.

6 p.m. Hear about non-surgical treatments to treat facial aging from Wake Forest Baptist facial plastic surgeon Neal Goldman, M.D., a specialist in cosmetic facial rejuvenation surgery and Nicole Stowe, medical aesthetician.

Aquatic Exercise
3 p.m. Aquatic classes are a fun way to get in shape! Join Wake Forest Baptist aquatic instructor Jessica Friel to learn more about using water resistance as a form of exercise for people with arthritis or chronic illness, or anyone who wants to get fit. Also learn about our American Red Cross Swimming and Safety program for children and adults.

Testosterone Deficiency in Men: What are the Options?
6 p.m. Testosterone levels naturally decrease with age and can cause symptoms such as reduced energy and stamina, changes in sexual desire and function and even a depressed mood and altered sense of well-being. Join Wake Forest Baptist urologist Ryan Terlecki, M.D., a specialist in testosterone deficiency, to learn about solutions.

1 p.m. Learn how advance directives such as a living will and health care power of attorney can ensure that your wishes will be met. Documents will be notarized free of charge.

Safe Sitter Basic®
9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Taught by certified Safe Sitter instructors, this nationally recognized program teaches 11- to 13-year-olds how to be safe, nurturing babysitters. Students learn safety precautions, basic first aid and how to care for a child who is choking and more, then take a final exam to earn a completion card. The cost is $40 per student for the one-day class and includes a Safe Sitter manual and babysitter kit. Students should bring a healthy bag lunch; drinks will be provided. Held at BestHealth in Hanes Mall. Space is limited.
