Medical Expert - Steven M. Block, MBBCH

In addition to his administrative role, Dr. Block is still an active, practicing neonatologist. He also teaches medical students, pediatrics residents and neonatology fellows. Among other activities, he co-chairs the Council on Diversity and Inclusion at the medical center. His clinical and research interests involve vascular morphology of the neonatal brain and intracranial hemorrhage, outcome of very low birth weight infants, the epidemiology of infant mortality, and the role of alternative therapies in convalescent premature infants. Dr. Block serves as a reviewer for pediatric research for the Journal of Perinatology,and is the author of many journal articles, abstracts and book chapters.
