Howard A. Blumstein, MD

Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine

Blumstein is the Medical Director of the Emergency Department at Wake Forest Baptist, the region's only Level-one trauma center, and is vice chairman of the Department of Emergency Medicine. He is the immediate past president of the American Academy of Emergency Medicine. Blumstein holds current memberships in the Society of Academic Emergency Medicine, American Academy of Emergency Medicine, and American Medical Association.
