Assistant Professor of Orthopaedics

Freehill, a former professional pitcher, specializes in shoulder injuries and sports medicine. He is particularly interested in injuries common to pitchers and other athletes who repeatedly use over-shoulder motions in their sports. Currently, Freehill serves as a team physician to the Wake Forest University baseball team, Winston-Salem State University athletes, and the minor league, Winston-Salem Dash. During his medical residency at Johns Hopkins, he worked with the Baltimore Orioles.
