Ann Lambros, PhD

Assistant Dean for Education and the Director of the Center for Excellence in Research, Teaching, and Learning

Lambros's expertise is in curriculum development and she has been instrumental in the current medical school curriculum design since 1987. She is the author of two books on problem-based learning: "Problem-Based Learning in K-8 Classrooms" and "Problem-Based Learning in High School Classrooms." Her research projects include determining the efficacy of interventions designed to attract minority students to biomedicine as a career and the effects of problem-based learning on student performance and long term retention.
