Vinay Thohan, MD
Associate Professor, Cardiology Hypertension and Vascular Research Center
Dr. Thohan is medical director of the Heart Center's Congestive Heart Failure and Heart Transplant Program. His interests include cardiac imaging and the role of novel pharmacologic and device therapies to treat patients who suffer with advanced cardiac disease. He has extensive experience in evaluating and treating patients with advanced heart disease, the use of left ventricular assist devices and the selection and management of patients receiving cardiac transplantation. Under Dr. Thohan's leadership, the Heart Center provides the community's only left ventricular assist device (LVAD) program which ensures an integrated, progressive approach to patient care.
