Keith A. Walter, MD
Walter is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in corneal and
refractive surgery. He received his medical training at Duke University and
completed his ophthalmology residency and fellowship at Emory University.
his fellowship, Dr. Walter was a co-investigator of the first and largest LASIK
study in the United States. Based on his research, he was the first in his
field to improve LASIK outcomes by adjusting for humidity. In addition, he has
authored several articles related to LASIK surgery; and his research has been covered
by numerous news organizations including The New York Times, Time Magazine and CNN.

corneal donor tissue without damaging the eye.
