Who can attend Share the Health Fair?
The fair is open to adults regardless of age, insurance coverage, income level and/or immigration status.
How much do I pay to attend Share the Health Fair?
Share the Health Fair is a free service to the community. There is no cost for participants.
Is there transportation available?
Is there childcare available?
Yes! Childcare is available for anyone with children.
Can I register in advance?
Yes, Register Online For Share The Health Fair . You may also register the day of the event. Day of registration ends at 3pm.
What screenings are available?
A variety of screenings will be offered, including blood pressure, cholesterol, body mass index, diabetes, vision, glaucoma, hearing, HIV/STI, asthma, osteoporosis and mental health. A full list of available screenings may be found here, on our website.
Will I see a doctor / physician?
You will be seen by a health care professional, which may include, but is not limited to, physicians, physician assistants, nurses, technicians, medical students, and physician assistant students. Unfortunately, we cannot guarentee time with physicians. However, patients with serious conditions will be given priority.
What if I need to be seen by a doctor after the fair?
Individuals who are found to have health issues that require further attention will be given referrals and information about what steps to take.
What if I need medicine?
A small pharmacy will be available on site. Some financial assistance may be provided based on need.
What if I do not speak English?
Spanish-language interpreters will be in attendance. We will do our best to accomodate patients with other language needs.

Share the Health Fair is sponsored by Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, Wake Forest School of Medicine and the Northwest Area Health Education Center.
