Magnet Hospital Recognition
North Carolina Baptist Hospital was the first Magnet Hospital in the Carolinas (1999) and was the host of the 5th Annual National Magnet Nursing Conference. We were redesignated in 2003 and 2009 making us in the top 2% of approximately 390 hospitals in the nation which have multiple Magnet designations. Currently we are working on our 4th Magnet designation.
