Dean has been with OTAM since 1999 and has successfully completed deals in a broad range of technology areas. As evidence of his high level expertise, Dean is routinely invited to speak at conferences around the United States and guest lecture both undergraduate and graduate level students. Dean is a member of the Association of University Technology Managers and was a member of the inaugural class of Certified Licensing Professionals as recognized by the Licensing Executive Society. Prior to joining OTAM, Dean received a BS in Biology from the University of North Carolina and was a Charles H. Babcock Scholar at Wake Forest University's Babcock Graduate School of Management where he earned his MBA.
