Body Weight Support Gait Training
Outpatient neurorehabilitation therapy at CompRehab Plaza has a harness support made by Biodex that allows patients with a variety of disabilities to ambulate with decreased body weight. The body weight support gait trainer supports the patient's weight and allows for easier movement of the lower extremities. It is also a safe way to work on improved gait quality, gait velocity and balance activities. The gait trainer can be used over a treadmill or over the ground.
