Abby Haas, MD

Dr. Haas earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and Biology from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. She attended Wake Forest School of Medicine receiving her medical degree and completed her pediatric residency at Wake Forest Baptist Health.

Dr. Haas primary focus is to treat all her patients as individuals and she works to incorporate the unique aspects of their lives into treatment plans. She also involves the family in patient care decisions, to help develop plans that they trust and support. Her area of interest is in preventative medicine.

When not in the office she enjoys running, travel, being outdoors and spending time with her daughter and husband. 

Michelle Linkous, MD

Dr. Linkous earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA., graduating Summa Cum Laude. She attended Edward Via Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine, receiving her doctorial degree in osteopathic medicine and completed her pediatric residency at Wake Forest Baptist Health.

Dr. Linkous philosophy is to strive to get to know her patients on a personal level so she can not only treat their physical needs and treat their medical problems, but also to care for their spiritual and emotional well being. She enjoys seeing patients as they grow up and forming a special bond with them and their families over the years. Her focus is on the patient as an individual and not a medical condition or diagnosis. Her interests include well child care, premature infant care and infectious diseases.

When not in the office she enjoys scrapbooking, crocheting, spending time outdoors with friends and family. Dr. Linkous is married with a young son and two Shetland sheepdogs. 

Mary Evelyn O'Neil, MD

Dr. O’Neil earned her Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in telecommunication and film, minor in biology from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa AL, graduating Summa Cum Laude. She attended the University of Alabama School of Medicine where she received her medical degree, and completed her pediatric residency at Wake Forest Baptist Health. 

Dr. O’Neil’s interests are in dermatology, childhood obesity and media relations. She enjoys meeting new patients and seeing them grow throughout the years. She believes preventive health is very important in pediatrics and tries to give tips to parents to keep their children healthy. 

When not in the office she enjoys baking, tennis, running with her Australian Shepherd, reading and watching Alabama football. She also enjoys spending time with her husband J.T., an Otolaryngology resident at Wake Forest Baptist Health. 

Mark Pashayan, MD

After receiving his medical degree from the Bowman Gray School of Medicine in Winston Salem, Dr. Pashayan did his pediatric residency at the University of Florida in Gainesville. He worked in the private practice in Gainesville until 1995 when he joined Westgate pediatrics.

Dr. Pashayan is Board Certified in Pediatrics. Since 2001 he has served as the Chief Medical Officer for our primary care network, Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center Community Physicians.

Dr. Pashayan enjoys spending time with his wife and two grown sons. He is an avid photographer, cook, and musician.
