Program for Medical Ultrasound
Since 1975, the Program for Medical Ultrasound has been a pioneer in teaching the art of ultrasound to physicians, sonographers and other allied health professionals. Each course is enhanced by daily hands-on scanning sessions to reinforce lectures and develop scanning technique.

2013 Year of Ultrasound
Wake Forest School of Medicine’s Program for Medical Ultrasound is proud to participate and support in the 2013 Year of Ultrasound awareness campaign to promote the integration of ultrasound within the medical school curriculum.
We also support the Ultrasound First awareness campaign, an endeavor devoted to education and increasing awareness of the effectiveness of ultrasound in enhancing patient care.
