I began working with the Recreation Therapy Department in April of 2009. I graduated from UNC Charlotte with a B.S. in Exercise Science and completed my internship in cardiac and pulmonary rehab. I have previously worked as a personal trainer and group exercise instructor and I am certified by the American College of Sports Medicine as a Health Fitness Specialist.
I instruct aquatic classes offered at the Sticht Center Pool and have recently been certified as an Arthritis Aquatics Instructor. When not working, I enjoy working out, traveling, hiking and spending time with my family and friends.
