Timothy S. Pardee, MD, PhD, Assistant Professor of Hematology and Oncology, has identified a novel chemotherapeutic agent, fluoropyrimidine, FdUMP [10], that shows efficacy in Acute Myeloid Leukemia cell lines from humans, when tested in the laboratory.
