Training the neurologists and neurosurgeons of tomorrow is an essential part of our program. Students have the opportunity to collaborate with attending physicians in research, clinical trials and patient care.

Neurology Residencies and Fellowships at Wake Forest

Residencies and fellowships available in the Department of Neurology including vascular neurology, clinical neurophysiology, movement disorders, rehabilitation and additional study in the care of patients with Multiple Sclerosis. 

All of the faculty members in the Department of Neurology are actively involved in teaching the residents and fellows in our program.All faculty rotate on the inpatient services and precept the outpatient resident clinics. 

Residents and fellows work side by side with individual faculty in their specialty clinics.Every resident must perform a research project paired with an individual faculty mentor. Many of these projects have results in presentations at national meetings and publications.
