Benefits people with Osteoporosis, Osteoarthritis, and Joint-Replacements

What is the Medical Fitness Program?

Diagnosis-specific exercise classes for a small group of  6-8 participants. Evaluation by a licensed physical therapist is required for admission into the program. Classes are supervised by a physical therapy technician.

Who can attend?     

Anyone who has been discharged from rehabilitation but is not yet ready to exercise independently. Persons whom a physician deems appropriate to benefit from a supervised exercise class, based on specific medical needs, may also enroll.

Where and when are the classes?

Medical Plaza - Miller (formely CompRehab Plaza), Outpatient Physical Therapy Gym

Two days per week (Call for particular class details)

12:00 pm to 2:00 pm

What are the benefits?

Results - helping clients understand their fitness goals and creating a plan to achieve them

Motivation - a great source of motivation and encouragement, as well as resource for the latest objective health and fitness information

Safety - safely start and maintain an effective exercise program
