I joined the pain mechanisms lab in 2004 and I have been enjoying my work here. As a pos-doc fellow of Dr Eisenach, I learned not only basic science of pain but also the design of clinical study in pain patients. This is a great place to learn and to enjoy science. My research focuses on the understanding of descending modulation, especially, the supra-spinal mechanisms of descending noradrenergic inhibition in pain after surgery and peripheral nerve injury.
