Citing CBI
All investigators who use CBI are expected to cite the Center for Biomolecular Imaging in all presentations of data and images acquired and generated by CBI.
A Reminder to Give Acknowledgment to the Center for Biomolecular Imaging in Your Publications
Because the number of publications is a key measure of a program’s productivity and ability to obtain future funding, it is imperative that publications resulting from resources provided by the WFSM Center for Biomolecular Imaging acknowledge the Center for Biomolecular Imaging (MRI, CT, PET, or 7T research) as a source of support.
The individual author/investigator should make certain this is done. If the citation is not included at the time of publication, it is difficult for us to obtain appropriate credit in annual reports.
You may cite the Center for Biomolecular Imaging in one of the following ways:
- For a journal article: “This work was (partially) supported by the Center for Biomolecular Imaging of Wake Forest School of Medicine.”
- In abstracts: The Center for Biomolecular Imaging may be mentioned in the body of the abstract.
- For a multicenter trial: You may mention the Center for Biomolecular Imaging by name as the site of research in the text of the article.
Please send us a copy for our files of all publications and presentations in which you acknowledge the Center for Biomolecular Imaging.
Thank you for your assistance.
