Education & Employment Opportunities
If you would like to study complex diseases with the latest technology, then the Center for Genomics and Personalized Medicine Research may be the right place for you. We continue to build our research team by recruiting bright and energetic individuals. This portion of the website contains information for individuals that are considering the Genomics Center as a place to contribute their work, or perhaps as a place to complete an educational program such as a postdoctoral fellowship. As new opportunities arise, announcements will be posted below.
Current employment opportunities

diabetic nephropathy, obesity and cardiovascular disease risk factors in diverse
populations. Projects include genome wide association, linkage, exome sequencing,
whole genome sequencing, and exome chip
studies. The successful candidate will participate in analytical and/or
laboratory components of these research projects and follow up results using a
range of bioinformatics and potentially functional analysis under the
supervision of faculty members. His/her major duties will include genotyping
and DNA sequencing using a range of platforms and genetic data analysis using
existing genetic software, statistical data analysis including modeling using
SAS, R and/or other programming tools. A primary role
will be contributing to the design, implementation and subsequent manuscript
preparation of research projects.
PhD degree in biological sciences, genetics, statistical genetics,
epidemiology, bioinformatics, biostatistics or related fields. Laboratory experiences
