CIM Research Study Participant Recruitment

August 23, 2011:

We would like to invite you to be involved in a research study sponsored by the Center for Integrative Medicine and the Center for Biomolecular Imaging at Wake Forest University.

This research study involves one 90 minute visit. This visit includes having an MRI during which you will watch a  DVD or look at a picture and have a study team member place their hands lightly on the tops your feet. There are no blood tests. You will be asked to complete very brief questionnaires about your age, gender and race/ethnicity and a brief medical history. You will also be asked to rate your stress, relaxation and well-being at different points throughout the study. You will be given a $10 iTunes gift card in recognition of your participation. Participants must be between the ages of 18 and 40.

If you are interested, please call or email the study coordinator Dee Lanning at dlannin@wakehealth.edu  or (336) 713-4837

The Institutional Review Board (IRB) is a group of people who review the research to protect your rights. If you have a question about your rights as a research participant, or you would like to discuss problems or concerns, have questions or want to offer input, or you want to obtain additional information, you should contact the Chairman of the IRB at (336) 716-4542. The IRB approval number for this project is IRB00016834.
