Translational Cancer Genomics Working Group

Translational Cancer Genomics Working Group

A working group on translational cancer genomics has been established within the Center for Public Health Genomics and will be chaired by Lance Miller, Department of Cancer Biology. The mission of the working group is to foster unity and collaboration in translational and clinical cancer genomics, with a particular emphasis on the goals of developing clinically actionable tests and delivering precision genomic medicine. This will require an enumeration of our existing strengths and limitations, our technological and analytical capabilities, and historical barriers to multi-disciplinary and cross-departmental collaboration.  We invite anyone with interests in these topics to attend and become involved.  For those interested in participating, please RSVP with Laurie Russell.
