Community Recruitment, Engagement and Dissemination Developing Shared Resource

Services We Provide

 CRED will provide the following services:

  • Community-Based Recruitment and Engagement 
    • Recruit community members for population-based research studies, with a focus on underrepresented minorities and rural populations
    • Consult on recruitment and engagement strategies for cancer prevention trials
  • Qualitative Research
    • Provide methodological expertise in the design of qualitative data studies (e.g., focus group guides, key informant interviews, cognitive interviews, participant observation methodologies)
    • Conduct qualitative data collection 
    • Conduct data analysis (e.g., content analysis, narrative analysis, grounded theory)
    • Prepare summary reports
    • Facilitate dissemination of research findings to the community
    • Coordinate training, education and mentoring on qualitative research methods
  • Patient-Reported Outcomes Measurement
    • Provide methodological expertise in the design of quantitative data collection, including scale and/or item development and selection, with a focus on patient-reported outcomes and the measurement of health behaviors
    • Facilitate dissemination of research findings to the community
