The Center for Bioethics, Health, and Society provides a collaborative intellectual environment for addressing ethical, social, and policy issues of importance for health care, biomedical research, and public health. Department of Health and Exercise Science
The Department of Health Exercise Science on the WFU Reynolda Campus seeks to advance the understanding of health and the prevention/treatment of chronic disease and physical disability. J. Paul Sticht Center on Aging and Rehabilitation
The Sticht Center on Aging promotes the health and independence of older adults by fostering multi-disciplinary collaboration in basic and clinical research, research training, professional education and community outreach. These programs bring together the talents of more than 40 faculty members from 14 departments, institutes and centers. The Sticht Center houses 2 major affiliate programs:
- The Claude D. Pepper Older Americans Independence Center
- The Kulynych Center for Memory and Cognition Research.

The Maya Angelou Center for Health Equity strives to promote and a world of total health and equity for all persons. To this aim, the Center has 3 program areas:
