Research questions or aims:
Try to find out if diabetes, memory, thinking and changes in brain structure are influenced by inheritance (traits passed down in families). That is, do genes affect diabetes, memory, thinking and changes in brain structure?
Target population:
Male and female ages 34-86 with type 2 Diabetes

July 2008 – July 2012
Types of assessments and questionnaires:
Medical History, Demographics, height, weight, Vital Signs, Concomitant Medications, food frequency questionnaire, exercise habits form, cognitive test battery, Rey AVLT, 3MSE, DSST, STROOP, COWA, BSI Anxiety and CESD 10.
