Combined Degree Program
The Medical Laboratory Science Program is affiliated with a number of area colleges and universities which offer a combined degree. Students enrolled in the combined degree program complete three years of a prescribed curriculum at the affiliated institution and twelve months at The Medical Center. Upon successful completion of the combined degree program, each student receives a baccalaureate degree from the affiliated institution and a medical technology certificate from The Medical Center. The affiliated institutions are:
Baccalaureate graduates from nonaffiliated schools that meet admission requirements are also admitted. In some circumstances, special arrangements for credit transfer can be made with a parent college/university for students from nonaffiliated institutions who do not hold a baccalaureate degree.
