Critical Care Clinical Trials

The primary focus of the Critical Care Clinical Trials Group is the care and safety of the research patient.  We are a team of critical care research professionals who design, administer and evaluate critical care research programs for patients whose illness or injury requires care in the Intensive Care Unit.

The Critical Care Clinical Trials Group recognizes that the gift of participation may be a sacrifice for our individual patients and their families, and therefore the Critical Care Trials Group holds the responsibility of this gift very seriously.

Our work is to help define the future of what best care means for the critically ill patient and it is only through the generosity of our research patients and their families that breakthroughs are achieved.  Research training for our staff is carried out on a regular basis to help us administer ethical, informed (patient and family approved) medical investigation among the critically ill.

Having more patients survive their need for critical care is the benefit of research in Critical Care; our commitment to our research patients and their families is to carry out our responsibility with our guarantee of the safest delivery of these research programs.
