Integration and Acceleration Committee (InterAc)

The Integration and Acceleration Committee (InterAc) is comprised of 17 Wake Forest center and institute directors and the Senior Associate Dean for Research. InterAc's mission is to improve the administrative efficiency and research productivity by coordinating activities and infrastructure of these centers and institutes. Endorsed by the Dean and the Faculty Executive Committee, InterAc works together to conceptualize, design, and implement new activities to accelerate the institution's clinical, education, and research mission. The scope of activities includes sharing resources and expertise; facilitating specific cross- and multicenter research initiatives; identifying and remediating infrastructural deficits impeding research translation; jointly sponsoring education, training, and community outreach and engagement activities; and coordinating the timing and format of pilot grant submissions to facilitate co-sponsorship. InterAc meets quarterly.
