Cindy Montgomery, Administrative Manager
Ms. Montgomery joined Wake Forest University Health Sciences in 1983 as an administrative assistant in the Department of Urology. She has supported over 20 different physicians in the department including the department’s chair for 10 years. In 2004, with the arrival of Dr. Anthony Atala, she was promoted to Administrative Manager and now manages the four direct reports in the department of Urology and at the Institute for Regenerative Medicine. Ms. Montgomery is also a primary administrator for the Institute for Regenerative Medicine and leads the support activities for 16 faculty and nearly 80 staff.
Ms. Montgomery’s major areas of responsibility include all personnel, fiscal, administrative management for the Department of Urology including expertise with PeopleSoft and Microsoft Office Suite applications. She also serves as the primary point-of-contact for the department and is directly responsible for facilitating faculty recruitment, orientation and integration.
