Terri Bowen, Administrative Manager
Ms. Bowen came to the Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine in August of 2005 from the airline industry, bringing over 22 years of diverse administrative experience. In her role as Administrative Manager, she is responsible for the administrative support functions of the department, which covers over 270 faculty and staff and she directs the activities of the administrative staff. 

Joanne Gray, Secretary
Joanne joined WFIRM in 2009 and brings over 25 years of experience in diverse environments (profit and non-profit organizations) throughout North Carolina. 

Beth Manning, Secretary
Ms. Manning has recently joined the Center for Regenerative Medicine, bringing 15 years of experience with Wake Forest Health Sciences. She will be providing support for faculty and other administrative positions.

Linda Mason, Research Administrative Coordinator
Ms. Mason came to the Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine in October of 2009 from the newspaper industry, with 23 years of managerial and administrative experience. She relocated to the Triad area from Long Island, NY 3 ½ years ago. She coordinates a variety of administrative research activities for assigned departments, including pre-award efforts, proposal submission, and post-award management to assure that research projects comply with institutions and sponsor requirements.

Cindy Montgomery, Administrative Manager
Ms. Montgomery joined Wake Forest University Health Sciences in 1983 as an administrative assistant in the Department of Urology. She has supported over 20 different physicians in the department including the department’s chair for 10 years. In 2004, with the arrival of Dr. Anthony Atala, she was promoted to Administrative Manager and now manages the direct reports in the department of Urology. Ms. Montgomery’s major areas of responsibility include all personnel, fiscal, administrative management for the Department of Urology including expertise with PeopleSoft and Microsoft Office Suite applications. She also serves as the primary point-of-contact for the department and is directly responsible for facilitating faculty recruitment, orientation and integration. More...

Jennifer L. Olson, PhD
Dr. Olson graduated from MIT in 1996 with a bachelor’s degree in nuclear engineering. She then obtained her PhD from the Biomedical Physics Interdepartmental Graduate Program at the UCLA School of Medicine, where she investigated the role of TNF receptors in radiation-induced brain injury. More… 

Karen Richardson, Communications Manager
Karen is communications manager for the institute as well as the Dept. of Urology, a position that includes marketing, public relations and media relations. Her experience ranges from editing a weekly paper to working in corporate marketing communications. She is a graduate of the UNC School of Journalism. 

William Wesley, Financial Analyst
Bill came to Wake Forest Institute of Regenerative Medicine in August 2009. Prior to that, he spent 25 years in Vermont as Director of Finance for Southern Vermont College and Director of Finance for Bromley Mountain Ski Resort. He is responsible for WFIRM's budgeting and financial reporting.
