Todd R. Meinecke, MBA
Assistant Director, Quality Assurance / Quality Control
Mr. Meinecke’s main responsibility within WFIRM is to build and augment quality management systems within the Regenerative Medicine Clinical Center to meet regulatory requirements. This includes internal auditing, investigations, validations and oversight of the quality control functions associated with a facility charged with production under GMP and GTP requirements.
Todd joined WFIRM with 15 years of quality, operations and leadership roles centered around human cell, tissue and cellular and tissue based products. Immediately prior to joining WFIRM, he served as the Director of Corporate Quality Management for one of the largest human tissue processing organizations. There, he focused on internal auditing, document management and document control, validation and qualifications for biologics as well as developing a robust corrective and preventive action program. He has also worked in Production and Operations capacities within the tissue processing field, helping to lean and smooth the production of the world’s first sterile cornea graft for use internationally in glaucoma shunt surgery. Todd has also worked as Director of Quality and Training for one of the largest plasma therapeutics companies, helping to streamline regulatory processes as well as developing and deploying training and human development systems for multiple US locations.
Todd graduated from the University of New Mexico with degrees in Molecular Cell Biology and Spanish, and earned his MBA in Healthcare Management from Regis University in Denver, Colorado.
