Bowman Gray Society

Bowman Gray statue - face

In honor of their medical legacy, Wake Forest School of Medicine MD alumni who have reached their 50th reunion milestone will be inducted into the esteemed Bowman Gray Society. Each inductee will be presented a hand-crafted medallion bearing the Wake Forest University seal and the likeness of Bowman Gray. The medallion symbolizes the half-century achievement and will be worn at Wake Forest School of Medicine meetings and events. Henceforth, new members will be inducted annually, in the year of their 50th medical class reunion.

The inaugural induction will be celebrated during the 2017 MD Alumni Weekend and will be featured during the school’s Medical Alumni Association Assembly. Following the induction, Dean Edward Abraham, MD, will deliver his annual State of the School Address, and the assembly will conclude with a brief meeting of the Medical Alumni Association.

All alumni and guests are invited to remain in the Atrium for a complimentary buffet luncheon in celebration of the Bowman Gray Society's inaugural inductees.
