Medical Alumni Association

The MAA allows alumni of the School of Medicine to show their support for the school, its students and its mission.

Members provide support through contributions to the MAA Annual Fund, a strong and reliable source of unrestricted support for the school’s day-to-day academic operating expenses. Sustained by gifts from M.D. alumni, parents, house staff alumni, friends, organizations, corporations and foundations, the Annual Fund meets the school’s priority needs as determined by the dean and administrators.

The fund’s primary role is to preserve the school’s mission of excellence in medical education. By providing unrestricted funding for student loans and scholarship support, library acquisitions, faculty support and the maintenance and expansion of educational programs and facilities, gifts to the Annual Fund ensure the continued success of the School of Medicine and its future physicians.

We are always looking for ways to engage alumni through programs, contact with students and faculty, social events, and other activities. If you have an innovative idea for building upon the MAA's offerings, please contact Fred Robinette, Senior Director of Alumni Development at frobinet@wakehealth.edu.
