Pastoral Care

Since 1947, the Chaplaincy and Pastoral Education Program has trained thousands of ministers and seminarians in its year-long residency and summer programs. It is international in scope, with participants from more than 30 countries on five continents, and ecumenical in its approach, with more than 30 denominations represented.

Its primary mission is to enhance pastoral competency through the experience of caring for patients and their families in the hospital setting.
