Medical Student Elective Rotations

Electives

Application for rotations should be submitted to VSAS (Visiting Student Application Service). All applications for visiting clerkships will be reviewed and one student will be selected per rotation block.

Criteria used for selection are:

• Step 1 score >220
• Letters of recommendation
• Curriculum Vitae
• Completion of Wake Forest School of Medicine requirements

Questions should be sent to the Office of Student Services, Wake Forest School of Medicine.

Electives Offered:

• ANE01 Anesthesiology Clerkship
• ANE02 Critical Care (For Students Who Do Not Attend WFSM)
• ANE03 Pediatric Critical Care
• ICU04 Cardiothoracic Surgery Intensive Care Unit
• ICU05  Neurosurgical Intensive Care Unit 
• ICU06  Pediatric Intensive Care Unit
