About the Section

Education is an area of great emphasis in the section. Our faculty members are intensely involved in medical student education, not only at Wake Forest University, but also nationally. The section is a substantial contributor to educational efforts in our internal medicine residency program. Our fellowship attracts bright and highly motivated individuals who become actively involved in all aspects of section activities, and go on to success in both academic and private practice settings. Our faculty is recognized as a significant contributor to continuing education for physicians throughout the United States and around the world.
