Wake Forest School of Medicine MD Endowed Scholarships
over 100 endowed scholarships with both merit-based and need-based considerations. A listing of our endowed
scholarships can be found in the Financial Aid Handbook on page 24.
Scholarships – Applicants complete merit-based requirements when applying
to WFSM. If a student is selected to
receive one, it will be renewed each year of medical school as long as the
student maintains Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP).
Scholarships – Students (incoming and current) need to apply each year
while in medical school. Information
needed includes the current year’s FAFSA, CSS Profile, and 2015 tax
forms for student, spouse, and parents, even if the student is not
claimed as a dependent (see Need-Based Scholarship Application tab
for additional information and links).

Armed Forces Scholarships
Three branches of the US Armed Forces offer scholarships, and WFSM is honored to have
recipients among our student body. Should you have an interest in learning more from students who are
receiving military scholarships, please contact the Office of Financial Aid and
a current student will be identified to assist with your questions.
