Wake Forest School of Medicine MD Endowed Scholarships
over 100 endowed scholarships for both merit-based and need-based scholarship
awards. A listing of our endowed
scholarships can be found in the Financial Aid Handbook (make a link) on page 24.
Scholarships – Applicants complete merit-based requirements when applying
to WFSM. If a student is selected to
receive one, it will be renewed each year of medical school as long as the
student meets Satisfactory Academic Performance (SAP).
Scholarships – Students (incoming and current) need to apply each year
while in medical school. Information
needed includes current year’s FAFSA, Need Access Form, and most recent tax
forms for student, spouse (if married), and parents even if the student is not
claimed as a dependent. (See Need-Based Scholarship Application tab
for additional information and links).
scholarships provide an excellent source for funding medical school. WFSM’s Office of Financial Aid announces
external scholarships that become available through student emails. However, we also recommend that students
continue to search for scholarships on their own as well. Click the sites below to search for
scholarships pertaining to your specific interests and talents as well as
service programs that offer scholarships.
submit your External Scholarship Matching Datasheet (make a link to form) which
the Office of Financial Aid will keep on file throughout your tenure. As scholarship opportunities arise that match
your demographic information, we will forward that information to you for
review and possible application.
