Consult Service
The GI Consult Team receives over 1,500 requests for consultation a year from all units of the North Carolina Baptist Hospital for assistance in the care of patients with digestive diseases. Under the direct, daily supervision of the Faculty, Fellows play a central role in the evaluation and treatment of these patients. The Consult Team usually consists of a first year Fellow and a more senior Fellow, along with Internal Medicine Residents and Medical Students.
