Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide an outstanding patient care environment in which each fellow seeks to master basic and clinical knowledge of gastroenterology, state-of-the-science management approaches for patients with gastrointestinal and liver diseases, and the procedural skills that comprise an excellent gastroenterologist.

Our mission is to provide an outstanding educational environment with a full spectrum of lively conferences and relevant personal education in our gastroenterology clinics and in our endoscopic settings.

Our mission is to provide an outstanding research environment where new ideas, new protocols, and scientific writing are supported and encouraged.

Our faculty and our fellows are involved daily in these three missions to seek excellence in patient care, education, and research. In our environment, nurtured by our faculty and staff, the missions of our fellows and faculty will be will achieved to the benefit of our patients, program, and our specialty.
