WAKE FOREST UNIVERSITY DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL SURGERY
ADVANCED SURGICAL ONCOLOGY FELLOWSHIP   

POSITION AVAILABLE FOR THE 2012-2014 ACADEMIC YEAR

  This is a 2 year training position at a tertiary academic medical center which provides extensive clinical experience in the surgical management of all gastrointestinal malignancies, hepatopancreatobiliary tumors, breast cancer, melanoma, and sarcoma.  Our department is also a Peritoneal Surface Malignancy Center with a high volume practice of cytoreductive surgery and hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy.  The fellow will also have multidisciplinary rotations in Medical and Radiation Oncology, participation in an Oncology Core Curriculum teaching module, as well as protected research time for clinical and translational research projects.
