The mission of the J. Paul Sticht Center on Aging and Rehabilitation is to promote the health and independence of older adults by fostering multi-disciplinary collaboration in basic and clinical research, research training, professional education and community outreach. To achieve this mission, the Sticht Center on Aging offers myriad conferences and seminars designed to inform fellows, medical center physicians and the greater medical community in the latest research and clinical care of older adults.

The annual William Hazzard Symposium
During this year’s Symposium, we will be celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Hazzard Symposium and the 20th anniversary of the opening of the Sticht Center, so please save Thursday, December 7th for a very special event.
We are pleased to announce that the Keynote speaker for this year’s Hazzard Symposium will be Christopher M. Callahan, MD, the Cornelius and Yvonne Pettinga Professor of Medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine.
