Internal Medicine Residency Program
The Residency Program of the Department of Internal Medicine is among the best in the nation, training some ninety residents each year. More than ninety-five percent of our graduates pass boards. Graduates pursue careers in all Internal Medicine subspecialties, as well as becoming general internists and hospitalists.
Faculty mentors and formal initiatives like the Tinsley Harrison Translational Research Program promote and support resident research. Our house staff’s impressive research productivity is evidenced by publications and presentations at regional and national meetings.
