The nearest airport is Piedmont Triad International Airport (airport code GSO), located in Greensboro, NC.

Other airports, including Charlotte-Douglas International Airport (CLT) and Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) are within a 1 ½ hour drive.

All ground transportation is up to the interviewee to arrange individually.

Please note that some of the Winston-Salem area hotels offer transportation to the airport for a fee.

A shuttle service is also located in the PTI airport that can assist with transportation for a fee.

Applicants interested in staying with a current medical school student the night prior to your interview day may request a student host. The Hosting Program is run by current medical students and the Admissions Office cannot guarantee availability. Note that student hosts are not responsible for transportation to and from the airport. Applicants who have been invited for an interview may complete this request form.
