Applicants selected for an interview will be contacted by email or phone to schedule. The interviews are conducted on the Wake Forest School of Medicine campus only. We do not offer regional interviews. Most of our interview days this cycle will be Mondays, with a few Fridays and Saturdays being offered.
Wake Forest School of Medicine uses a hybrid method of Multiple Mini Interview’s. Applicants will cycle through a total of 10 scenario, teambuilding and interview stations. Business attire is appropriate and recommended during interviews.
Applicants will need to check in at 8:00 am and will be finished by 1:00 pm. A continental breakfast and lunch will be provided. Due to our interview
format, we are unable to accommodate travel delays and late arrivals.
The nearest airport is Piedmont Triad International Airport (airport code GSO), located in Greensboro, NC.
Other airports, including Charlotte-Douglas International Airport (CLT) and Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) are within a 1 ½ hour drive.
All ground transportation is up to the interviewee to arrange individually.
Please note that some of the Winston-Salem area hotels offer transportation to the airport for a fee.
A shuttle service is also located in the PTI airport that can assist with transportation for a fee.
Applicants interested in staying with a current medical school student the night prior to your interview day may request a student host. The Hosting Program is run by current medical students and the Admissions Office cannot guarantee availability. Note that student hosts are not responsible for transportation to and from the airport. Applicants who have been invited for an interview may complete this request form.

The Office of Student Admissions is located in the Bowman Gray Center for Medical Education (475 Vine Street, Winston-Salem, NC 27101) on the 1st floor, Suite 130. Directions to the Innovation Quarter can be viewed and you can also look up a parking map. Applicants are asked to park in the visitor parking lot off 5th street.
