Only applicants receiving an invitation to interview will be
scheduled. Interviews will be conducted on the Wake Forest School of Medicine
campus only. Interviews are usually scheduled on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and
The nearest airport is Piedmont Triad International Airport (airport
code GSO), located in Greensboro, NC.
Other airports, including
Charlotte-Douglas International Airport (CLT) and Raleigh-Durham International
Airport (RDU) are within a 1 ½ hour drive.
All ground transportation is up to
the interviewee to arrange individually.
Please note that some of the
Winston-Salem area hotels offer transportation to the airport for a fee.

Applicants interested in staying with a current medical
school student the night prior to your interview day may request a student
host. The Hosting Program is run by current medical students, the Admissions Office cannot guarantee availability. Note that student
hosts are not responsible for transportation to and from the airport. Applicants
who have been invited for an interview may complete this request
There are many hotels close to the School of Medicine. Some offer transportation to WFSM and/or PTI. When making reservations, please let them know you are a Wake
Forest School of Medicine interviewee as discounts may be available.
The Hawthorne Inn & Conference Center is owned by Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. It offers discount rates for applicants and complimentary shuttle service to the School of Medicine.

be found here. The Office of Student Admissions is located in Watlington Hall,
3rd Floor, Suite B. From the Richard Janeway Clinical Sciences Tower (Ground
Level), enter the main hospital complex by crossing the bridge area using the
main hallway corridor to reach Watlington Hall. Take the elevator to the 3rd
floor, and continue straight down the hall. About midway on the left is the
Student Admissions Office Suite B.
