Multiple Sclerosis Fellowship

The Multiple Sclerosis Center at Wake Forest Baptist Health
focuses on the comprehensive management of Multiple Sclerosis. There are currently two faculty members who
specialize in Multiple Sclerosis.
Fellows will train under the supervision of Emily Pharr, MD, Assistant
Professor and Neurology Residency Program Director and Dr. Nuhad Abou-Zeid,
The MS Center offers patients all available disease
modifying therapies as well as opportunities in clinical trials investigating
experimental therapies. We provide a
comprehensive Multidisciplinary Clinic supported by grant funding from the
Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.
The one-year clinical fellowship program combines experience
1. Management of Multiple Sclerosis in subspecialty clinics
staffed by Drs. Pharr and Abou-Zeid.
2. Use of all available disease modifying therapies for
management of Multiple Sclerosis
3. Clinical Trial methods
4. Multidisciplinary care of symptoms related to Multiple
Sclerosis including spasticity management.
Applicants must have completed a residency in Neurology in USA.
